I am very pleased to announce that Dr. Allen Dobbs has joined the Apprio team. As Chief Medical Information Office (CMIO), Dr. Dobbs is responsible for Apprio’s health sector strategy, including the company’s health sector innovation efforts.
Dr. Dobbs comes to Apprio from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), where as Chief Medical Officer, he oversaw the strategic remodeling of the National Disaster Medical System (NDMS), a federally coordinated system that augments the nation’s medical response capability. Dr. Dobbs also led innovations in deployable health information systems, workforce safety and health, and medical oversight to national response and contingency operations.
Dr. Dobbs has a long history in the federal health IT industry and truly understands the unique challenges faced by this sector. We are very excited to welcome him to the team.
