Washington, D.C., November, 3, 2023 – Apprio, a leading provider of specialized healthcare technology and automation solutions, has joined the College of Healthcare Information Management Executive (CHIME) Foundation.
The CHIME Foundation is a nonprofit organization that connects the nation’s healthcare IT leaders to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas.
“As a leader in healthcare IT automation, Apprio is committed to helping the entire industry advance to reduce healthcare costs and enhance the quality of care,” said Darryl Britt, Apprio’s CEO. “CHIME is a great organization, and the Foundation gives us even more opportunity to connect with other healthcare IT organizations to achieve that goal.”
For more than two decades, Apprio has provided healthcare technology services and solutions to hospitals and healthcare systems. It is a leader in health IT automation, and recently partnered with AI pioneer UiPath to expand offerings for mid-market healthcare operations.
The company brings significant expertise in revenue cycle management, a critical component of healthcare operations that spans pre- and post-care functions, including prior authorization, claims, billing, enrollment and eligibility, and accounts receivable.
Apprio recently welcomed healthcare automation expert Kali Durgampudi to lead its new Automation Division.
“We look forward to making the most of the extraordinary connections that CHIME facilitates,” said Durgampudi. “It’s essential for healthcare IT leaders to work together to solve some of the toughest industry challenges, and I look forward to sharing our expertise and insights on automation with CHIME members.”
